Literacy instruction can be challenging for students with complex communication needs. Interventions require a number of options to provide enough opportunities for learning through a balance of approaches based around literacy and language strategies. In this 3-part webinar series, we will discuss three different interventions for emergent level students that can be easily added to your everyday schedule.
For the first webinar, we will discuss shared reading and how to use specific techniques to incorporate different forms of AAC to maximize interactions and help students make connections with text. Video examples will be shared, and participants will have opportunities to practice shared reading.
