ADULT Mental Health First Aid

This is the ADULT Mental Health First Aid course. This is an evidence-based training course that teaches people to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. In this course you will learn risk factors and signs of addictions and mental illness, information about the impact of mental and substance use disorders, a 5-step action plan to assess a situation and help, and where you can find local resources to assist during a crisis.

The course is on Monday, October 21st and Monday, October 28th from 9:00am-1:00pm in the Moulton Hall Ballroom. Participants must be present for the entire time.

This workshop counts as 8.0 hours toward your annual Beyond Compliance requirement for faculty/staff and 600 FLASHperks for students .
