9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Help raise awareness for oral head and neck cancers. We will be providing free oral cancer screenings, oral health instructions, flu vaccinations, breakfast and more to the public. We will be walking through the beautiful city of Detroit taking in the sights and sounds while promoting oral cancer awareness.
Funds raised go towards offsetting costs for patients in need of oral cancer biopsies and our outreach efforts in the community.
The Student National Dental Association (SNDA) is an organization that promotes and supports the academic and social environment of minority dental students. For more than 40 years, SNDA has provided oral hygiene education through various outreach efforts, with emphasis on minorities and the underserved. These opportunities allow our members to provide a service that has improved the quality of life for many.
Those unable to participate in the walk are still able to show support by donating to the Oral Cancer Biopsy Fund by following the prompts in the registration link.
Children (under 12): $10
Registration includes a t-shirt, swag bag with goodies, and access to the event.
