Target Audience: Paraprofessionals
This session discusses seven steps to gaining effective Instructional Control. Based off Robert Schramm’s article The Seven Steps to Earning Instructional Control With Your Child, we will walk through effective, evidenced-backed ways to earn instructional control in your classroom. Gaining instructional control is crucial in developing positive relationships and effective aspects of your classroom management. This includes the use of reinforcers, pairing, consistency, and having fun with your students and staff.

Credits
- .5 ISBE Clock Hours (CPDUs) will be provided for all registrants
To receive credits for this event:
1) Register online
2) Sign in at the event
3) Complete the Event Evaluation that will be sent via email within 1 week after the event.
4) Upon completion of the evaluation, your Certificate of Attendance (CEUs/CPDUs) will be automatically generated and sent via email.
