Course Details

In this intimate and interactive course, designed for dentists and their staff, specialists in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics will share pearls of pediatric dentistry wisdom for working with patients from ages 1 to 18 (and their parents!). Participants will receive updated information on diagnosis and treatment of pediatric procedures, the effects of the Affordable Care Act, ways to change patient and parent behavior, and much more!

This two day course will give you and your team valuable tools to treat children of all ages. Day One's lecture will offer participants “pearls” of clinical techniques including caries control and prevention, the latest materials updates, and helpful information on the business side of pediatric dentistry.

Day Two will offer step-by-step instruction on clinical procedures, including pulp therapy, stainless steel crowns, use of glass ionomers, and silver diamine fluoride. Throughout the course, you and your team will learn how to schedule better, communicate with parents and coworkers, and have control of your practice. By the end of the course, participants will see how treating kids and teens can be a benefit to their practice!

Practitioners are encouraged to bring their whole team. Learn how to work together to treat children, while minimizing work-related stress, and keeping your practice looking great!

This program includes two breakout sessions to provide auxiliaries and administrative staff with tips and tricks tailored to their roles.
