Instructors

MARIA B. PAPAGEORGE, DMD, MS, is Professor and Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She is also Associate Dean for Hospital Affairs and Dentist-in-Chief at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Papageorge is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Academy of Dental Science.

Course Details

TUSDM welcomes our alumni and guests for this special continuing education course, which is part of the school's 150th anniversary celebrations.

 

Please note that the CE course is open to both TUSDM alumni and non-alumni, while the evening cocktail reception is specific to TUSDM alums. You will have the option to register for either the CE lecture, the cocktail reception, or both, at the bottom of this page.

 

CE course description:

 

Our speakers will present a series of complex cases, involving functional and esthetic concerns, periodontal disease, multiple edentulous areas and malalignment of the remaining dentition, sleep apnea and skeletal discrepancies. Our panel will discuss the management of these complex cases requiring a multidisciplinary treatment approach in order to address the multiple and varied dental health needs of patients. Problems will be identified and the panel will discuss options for treatment of these patients. The panel will also expand on current knowledge and up to date treatment modalities.
