Intended Audience: General and Special Education Teachers, Social Workers, Psychologists, Related Service Providers, Paraprofessionals, and Administrators.

This five-part professional learning series will help participants build fluency with the science of behavior, which provides the theoretical foundation on which Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) are based. Participants will acquire the skills necessary to conduct an FBA, and create, implement, and progress monitor a BIP. The training will ensure that these skills are align with the New York State Education Department P-12: Office of Special Education regulations, and New York City Chancellor’s Regulations.

*PLEASE BE ADVISED, registration and attendance in all five sessions of this professional learning series is strongly recommended.*
