This training is an opportunity to explore equity and cultural
responsiveness within the context of the region and/or the Educational
Organization(s) present in the audience, as well as build foundational
language and knowledge related to these two concepts.
Objectives:
- Define common terms and imagery that appear in conversations about equity
- Explore the concept of cultural responsiveness through personal, professional, and institutional lenses
- Identify initial strengths, challenges, and needs regarding the capacity to implement culturally
responsive practices
