Participants will identify the essential information and documentation needed, and the special factors to consider when working with culturally and linguistically diverse students and families.

Participants will review the essential components of an Individualized Education Program (IEP), particularly the Measurable Annual Goals and Recommended Special Education Programs/Services.

Participants will identify and analyze data relevant to the students’ language and culture that impacts the student’s learning, and use this information to develop linguistically appropriate academic goals for Multilingual/English learners.
