This module addresses the specific roles and responsibilities of the District Representative and the IEP team, as well as regulations and procedures relating to the Individual Evaluation process. This training is intended for administrators, general and special education teachers, psychologists, social workers and guidance counselors.
Objectives:
• ensure compliance with evaluation procedures and timelines
• ensure that the evaluation report includes the pertinent information to determine the necessary instructional supports
• encourage and facilitate the participation of the parents and the student prior to and during the evaluation process
