This PLC was designed to provide Horizon educators with an understanding of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and how to apply these principles in a variety of learning environments to support their students.

Topics for the 8 weekly PLC sessions will include: Intro to ABA and ASD; How to Use Reinforcement Strategies to Motivate Student Learning; How to Teach Complex Skills, Behavior Part 1: ABA and MTSS; Behavior Part 2: Functions of Behavior and Individualized Student Supports; Data Collection, Incidental Teaching Strategies; and How to Expand Language Using Incidental Teaching Strategies.

The Cohort will meet virtually for 8 sessions from 2:30pm-3:30pm.

This PLC Cohort is for staff working with ASD Horizon students in any grade. Attendees are eligible for 1 hour of CTLE for each session attended.
