This training provides an overview of career development theory and the law and regulations requiring transition assessment. A variety of assessments related to each of the measurable postsecondary goal areas of Employment/Training, and Independent Living to assist students in developing increased self-awareness and career paths will be explored. Part 3: Using Transition Assessment Results Throughout the Individualized Education Program (IEP)
Participants will:
• Review the Assessment to Practice Tool
• Explore Case Study #1 – Johnny
• Review, analyze, and apply Johnny’s transition assessment results
throughout the IEP
• Explore Case Study #2 – Sean
• Review, analyze, and apply Sean’s transition assessment results throughout
the IEP
• Explore additional case studies
All registrants need to attend all training sessions in order to receive complete CLTE credit.
