Details
Students with dyslexia and other print-based disabilities often struggle with writing in Secondary schools. As teachers, administrators, and Field Support, we need to understand why this is, and what instructional moves we can make to support their growth within a tiered approach to instruction. We are so honored to co-present this 3-part mini-series with esteemed researchers and instructional experts, Dr. Heidi Beverine-Curry from the Reading League, Dr. Steve Graham and Dr. Karen Harris, and faculty presenters from Judith Hochman's The Writing Revolution.

You will learn about the Science of Reading and the Science of Writing to understand the components of effective writing instruction, review the fundamental principles of explicit instruction, and develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and techniques to assist students with concrete ways to improve their written expression as they respond authentically to texts. Please join us!
