This professional learning opportunity is the first of two sessions on understanding and using the competing behavior pathway to identify appropriate supportive behavioral interventions. **Please note: Participants should register for Day 2 (6/8/23). This professional learning opportunity is designed for District and School level teams, General and Special Education teachers, related service providers, social workers, psychologists, guidance counselors, and paraprofessionals. Participants will learn each of the components of the Competing Behavior Pathway to understand what environmental factors are triggering, maintaining and/or reinforcing the problem behavior, as well as learn to identify a function-based replacement behavior, and explicitly teach and reinforce the new socially appropriate behavior.
