: In order to reduce challenging behaviors and promote desired conduct in students, educators must conceptualize and apply the Behavior Pathway. Within the continuum of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), the Behavior Pathway is utilized as an intensive Tier-3 evidenced-based practice and tool. This introductory training, designed for district/school level teams, general and special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers, will enable participants to objectively observe, define, and understand challenging behaviors. Participants will also learn how to identify environmental factors that are triggering, maintaining and/or reinforcing the problem behavior(s).
