This is part 3 of a 3-part learning opportunity.?Participants MUST attend and actively participate in: Equity, Culture & NYSED CRSE Framework-Module 1 and Dimensions of Equity of Tool-Module 2 to obtain full CTLE credits. Session Objectives: Grounding in around Equity & Culture as well as the NYSED Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education Framework (CRSE), which informs our work as Culturally Responsive Practitioners. Participants will explore concepts of Equity in their organization’s policies and procedures through unpacking Zaretta Hammond’s Dimensions of Equity Tool. Review a case study of Socio-Cultural Awareness, which is an understanding of the role culture plays in educational processes & systems.
