Class Description

Exploring French Wines

Let's take a tasting tour around France. This is a sit down tasting/education event held in the Franklin Liquors wine room. We will discuss regions, laws, and explore unique wines from Champagne to the Southwest. Don't let wines from France confuse you, learn what grapes grow best where and so much more!

 

Exploring Italian Wines

Let's take a tasting tour around Italy. This is a sit down tasting/education event held in the Franklin Liquors wine room. We will discuss regions, laws, and explore unique wines from all over Italy. Don't let wines from Italy confuse you, learn what grapes grow best where and so much more!

 

 

Wine Aromas

Apple. Leather. Grass. Bell Pepper. What do these aroma and flavor descriptions mean in the context of wine? How can you tell what you're smelling? Join Mark and Kim as they lead you through a guided tasting using the Nez du Vin system to start training your nose to be sensitive to all the wonderful aromas that wine has to offer. This is a sit down tasting/education event held in the Franklin Liquors.

 


Class Cost

$25.00/class or all 3 classes for $65.00


Instructor

Mark Lenzi CSW, CSS, CWAS, FWS, IWS, co-owner of Franklin Liquors, trained by the International Sommelier Guild, Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and Spirits (CSS) by The Society Of Wine Educators,

First in MA to be a California Wine Appellation Specialist (CWAS) by the SF Wine School, French Wine Scholar And Instructor (FWS) by the French Wine Society, First in USA to hold a Quini Certified Educator (QCE) title, Italian Wine Specialist (IWS) by the North American Sommelier Association.

Franklin Liquors is a family-owned business vintage 1978.
