This non-clinical pilot program, led by a licensed speech-language pathologist, is open to students in grades 3-5. Projects, games, and activities will help develop and generalize students' social communication, peer relationship, problem-solving, and self-regulation skills and more.

Alyson Shaheen, M.S., CCC-SLP, completed her bachelor's degree at Assumption College in Worcester, MA, where she majored in Psychology and concentrated in Speech-Language Pathology. She received her master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Worcester State University. In her professional career, Alyson, who specializes in pragmatic language therapy, has over eight years of experience working with students ranging in age from preschool to post-graduate, in both the special education collaborative and pediatric clinic settings. She believes that the most important aspect of student learning is a positive environment, and she strives to ensure every student feels accepted, encouraged and understood.
