Basic Life Support (BLS) course
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is offered through a traditional classroom setting or as a combined e-learning / practical skills test.
Students taking the course for the first time should register for the classroom based BLS Provider course.

We are located in the basement of West Hospital, NORTH WING.
Parking may be found at VCU Health Visitor/Patient Parking in Deck E and S, located at 12th and Leigh Streets.
The VCU Center for Trauma and Critical Care Education was established in 1980 in order to provide education to the volunteer EMS community in Central Virginia. Today, the Center offers comprehensive training programs for the VCU medical center and community care providers.
