The sUAS Commercial Remote Pilot includes three days classroom instruction and the FAA exam on Day 4. Additional course sections may be purchased to enhance knowledge and skill level.

If you are taking the Basic Multirotor Flight Training you may bring your own aircraft or you may rent an aircraft. Night Operations includes aircraft rental and requires use of K-State aircraft.

Cancellations, Substitutions, and Refunds

Cancellations must be received by Professional Education and Outreach by 5:00 pm on the registration deadline, Friday, March 13, 2020. Refunds will only be honored if the cancellation is received by the registration deadline. Refunds will be assessed a $27.50 processing fee. Cancellations received after the deadline are not eligible for a refund. Registrants who do not cancel their registration are responsible for the registration fee even if they do not attend and have not paid the fee.

Substitutions will be considered on a case by case basis. Contact Professional Education and Outreach at profed@k-state.edu to request a substitution. Substitution requests will not be considered past the registration deadline, Friday, March 13, 2020.

Professional Education and Outreach may cancel or postpone any course or activity because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the event is canceled or postponed, the Professional Education and Outreach office will refund registration fees, but cannot be held responsible for costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, or travel agencies.

Payment Method

The email address provided on the registration form will receive an invoice via email. Payment must be received by Friday, March 13, 2020. If payment is not received by the deadline you will not be allowed to attend.

Publicity Statement

Registration for this program gives consent for photographs, publicity, and inclusion on the participant list unless Professional Education and Outreach is notified in writing at profed@k-state.edu prior to the start date. Name and related identification information, including contact information, will be shared with the affiliated organization(s) for certification purposes. A full list of third party organizations that will be provided registrant information can be received by emailing profed@k-state.edu. Footage captured may be used in future print and electronic promotional and archival materials.

Program Materials
