BLS/CPR for the Healthcare Provider Classes
All BLS/CPR for the Healthcare Provider Classes and BLS/CPR Skills Checks are listed within the calendar. You may only register for one offering at a time. Employees/students registering for multiple BLS classes to try to keep their attendance options open will be dropped from all courses as this creates fewer options for other registrants. If you are registered for a course, meaning you have a confirmed spot in the class, you can not also be on the waitlist for other course offerings for the same class.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
March 24th, 2019, Class Schedule Update
At this time the decision has been made to cancel all classes effective now through May 15, 2020. This decision is the best choice to allow healthcare providers to attend to their critical role in the hospitals and clinic settings and to decrease the number of students and employees on the NMC campus.
Also, if you are Renewing your BLS AHA Provider card sign up for a Renewal BLS course. If you have Never taken an AHA BLS Provider class please sign up for the Initial BLS course. This is new so please be sure you are signing up for the correct class.
NMHS employees you have been granted an extension of up to 60 days for your AHA Provider card.
- March has until the end of May
- April has until the end of June
- May has until the end of July
At this time classes will resume on May 16th, 2020 at Nebraska Methodist College. Please keep the above schedule in mind when rescheduling your course. Leave the May classes for those that expire in March, we will have two weeks to get all those people in for the class so please be respectful of that and leave the May classes for those that expire in March.
Thank you for your compliance with our policy and help in keeping others safe.
