We have multiple programs at Immaculate Heart of Mary. Here are the categories and general descriptions. To register for the programs, scroll down to the course catalog on the bottom of the page.

 

 


 

Program Descriptions  | Youth Group

 

High School Lifeteen Youth Group

 

Youth group meets weekly on Sunday nights from 630 PM - 8 PM September 8, 2019 - May 3, 2020. There are also various retreats and conferences the kids will have the chance to attend.

Cost: $25 FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR

 

Middle School Edge Youth Group

 

Youth group meets weekly on Wednesday nights from 630 PM - 8 PM September 4, 2019 - May 6, 2020. There are also various retreats and conferences the kids will have the chance to attend.

Cost: $50 FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR

 

Students are always welcome to come check out youth group at any time during the year without prior registration!

 


 

Program Descriptions  | Children's Faith Formation

 

Christened Disciples | PreK-1st Grade

 

The Christened Disciples program is for children four years of age through first grade. For four year old and pre-k students, we have our Sprouts class, which is held on Tuesdays at 445 PM.

 

Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC) | 2nd-5th Grade

 

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Children is for kids who need the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Communion. 2 years of preparation: Children register for RCIC the first year and Growing Disciple the second year. Students will receive Sacraments at the Easter Vigil

 

Beginning and Growing Disciples | 2nd-5th Grade

 

The Beginning and Growing Disciples programs are for kids who need the Sacraments of Confirmation and Communion. This is a two-year program:

  • Beginning Disciples (Year 1)
    • Students receive 1st Reconciliation, begin prep for Confirmation/First Communion
  • Growing Disciples (Year 2)*
    • Students receive Confirmation/First Communion

Beginning Disciples is mandatory to participate in our Growing Disciples program

Please contact Lupe Hermosillo if your 2nd-5th graders need baptism.

 

Commissioned Disciples | 2nd-5th Grade

 

Commissioned Disciples is for 2nd-5th graders who have received Baptism, Confirmation and Communion.

 

 


 

Program Descriptions  | Spirit Series

Confirmation/First Communion - 6th-12th Grade

 

Spirit Series is our Sacramental Preparation program for our 6th-12th grade Immaculate Heart of Mary. This program seeks to bring students the Sacraments or Confirmation (as well as First Communion and/or Baptism if needed) "Into the Fold" of the greater parish community.

Spirit Series meets on Tuesdays at 615 PM.

 

 


 

Program Descriptions  | Adult Faith Formation

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

 

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, or RCIA, is a program for adults in need of the sacraments of initiation in the Catholic Church. Adults receive Baptism, Confirmation, First Communion as needed.

RCIA meets on Tuesdays at 7 PM.

 

  


 

Program Descriptions | Adult Bible Study

Spring 2020 Adult Bible Study: Bishop Barron's The Mass

 

Adult Bible Study is open to all parishioners and runs in four different sessions. We run various programs throughout the year. Our upcoming course, starting in January 2020, is Bishop Barron's The Mass.
