Nursing Assistant (CNA) Classes
There are two different types of courses. The traditional in-class format where students come to class for both lecture and skills. The hybrid courses contain all lectures and assignments online and students only come to campus for skills once a week typically for 6 weeks. Click Learn More for specific class dates and times.
Additional hybrid classes get added throughout the year. Check back to the website frequently for additional options.
Use the filter to select either the traditional in-class or the hybrid online course format that will best fit your learning style.
11/29/2021 CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
Nebraska Methodist College, in conjunction with Nebraska Methodist Health System, is actively monitoring the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and has made institutional changes in order to prioritize the health and well-being of our community. Please see our COVID dashboard at methodistcollege.edu/covid-19, specific course detail, course confirmations, and emails from your program coordinators for more information.
On Nov. 4, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a new regulation that requires healthcare employers that participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs to mandate COVID-19 vaccination for staff. These federal regulations, based on compliance with Title VII and ADA, allow for limited medical or religious exemptions.
Since our CNA courses attend clinical experiences at CMS facilities, our students are required to comply in order to attend the clinical experience at the end of the course.
If you are unvaccinated and need additional information on medical and religious exemptions, please email Joey Gardner at Joey.Gardner@methodistcollege.edu at the time of registration to discuss your options.
