The Role of Creative Commons in the OER and Traditional Classroom
This session will focus on the relationship between Creative Commons (CC) and Open Educational Resources (OER) as well as the traditional classroom. Detailing information about Creative Commons that faculty members should know when engaging in OER activities, as well as traditional preparatory activities. Topics include; types of CC licenses and their usefulness in OER, differences between CC and Copyright/Fair Use, ways to utilize existing CC content in OER and traditional coursework.
