T’ai Chi reveals the fact: our bodies were built to move and that moving cures many of our illnesses and mental distress. Through T’ai Chi we can develop tranquility, relaxation, clarity and effectiveness. Exploration will include hands-on learning of postures and foot movements, understanding Chi Qong as a health energy sequence and how to become comfortable with the 13 sequence of the Modified Yang form. T’ai Chi reveals the fact: our bodies were built to move and that moving cures many of our illnesses and mental distress. Through T’ai Chi we can develop tranquility, relaxation, clarity and effectiveness. Exploration will include hands-on learning of postures and foot movements, understanding Chi Qong as a health energy sequence and how to become comfortable with the 13 sequence of the Modified Yang form. Eight Brocades warm-ups will be used.

Often thought of as the ‘Winter Blues’, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that tends to happen in the fall and winter months. On average, SAD occurs in 6% of Americans. It is approximately four times more common in women. The prevalence of SAD increases in people living further away from the equator. In this workshop, participants will gain greater insight into the causes of SAD, its symptoms, and various treatment options.

This class is the next step after Reiki Master and includes Karuna Reiki® I and Karuna Reiki® II Master Attunements. Those that take the class will be empowered to use the eight symbols of Karuna Reiki® in their Reiki sessions and teach the Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher class. A certificate and a 125 page manual is included with in depth descriptions of each symbol and each attunement process. To qualify to take this class, a student must have been a Reiki Master for at least 6 months and be able to draw the Reiki II and Master symbols from memory. Please bring your Master Certificate with you the first day of class to qualify.

In this class, learn better balance and improve flexibility and strength incrementally, all at your body’s own pace while standing or sitting.
